This week, I would like to speak about leadership and in my message to the Nightflier's of Lucifer's Den. Leadership is paramount to involvement in the activities you believe in. It is a willingmess to give of yourself to what you believe is true and a significant part of your life. For it is this involvement by those who act that may inspire others who share the same identities of belief to follow those beliefs. Thus do we have a community that is functional in reaching out to others who may well be searching for the same answers and information that we are willing to give by our work. The Vampire Community is in need of leadership for the purposes of unity among us and survival of our kind. One of the primary goals of Lucifer's Den is this unity and survival. Many groups and organizations of the vampire community come and then disappear, however we must not suffer this prophetic demise. We must be organized and quite resourceful in our ability to take a place of leadership in the vampiric world and in directing a future for the vampire community. Unity of cause and dedication of purpose is the key to our survival. We cannot allow the failures of other organizations to deter us. As some have come and quickly gone, we must choose to associate ourselves carefully with each other and others on and offline. We must look at our history, what we are doing in the vampire community, what is our purpose, and if we are achieving our purpoose. And then we must speak our minds and seek a path for our words. And when needed we must seek resolution in the presence of conflict. And we must look at our leaders for inspiration as well as truth. Leaders must be genuinely concerned about what is happening in the vampire conmmunity instead of just being the head of some group. In order to lead, one must know how to be involved in any organization. And this is evident when one is at the front lines asking questions and offering answers. An organization is a part of it's whole. We must follow ourselves as a group and not follow someone's single agenda or dogma at the expense of everyone else. And anyone who fails to vision any group as a whole risks being a part of the group's splintering and downfall. We are all a part of this path and those who seek individual growth naturally become part of the whole of the group. We as a group must strive for solutions. The Vampire Community will always be here. We must make the decision to support our fellow kin in our group or we will be doomed to failure in leaving those who need our help and leadership separate and apart.
